Ethical Principles and Publication Policy

EFES Journal of Sport Sciences (JEFES) is a non-profit journal dedicated to disseminating scientific advancements across all fields of educational sciences to readers and interested parties. JEFES's publication ethics policy is based on the Directive on Scientific Research and Publication Ethics of Higher Education Institutions and the guidelines and policies published in open access by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

b) Fabrication: Using non-existent or falsified data in scientific research.

c) Falsification: Manipulating research records or data, presenting unused equipment or materials as if they were used in the research, or distorting or shaping research results to fit the interests of sponsors.

d) Duplicate Publication: Submitting the same publication multiple times for academic appointment and promotion as separate works.

e) Salami Slicing: Dividing the results of a single study into parts and publishing them separately in a manner that undermines the integrity of the research.

f) Unjust Authorship: Including individuals who did not contribute significantly to the research as authors, excluding individuals who did, altering the author order without justification, removing names of significant contributors in subsequent editions, or including one's name as an author through influence without significant contribution.
